Carly Hansen

Water Resources/Civil Engineer

My name is Carly, and I am a water resource engineer and R&D Staff Member at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. I attended graduate school and worked as a postdoctoral instructor at the University of Utah, where I grew to love and appreciate complex challenges of water resources.

I am particularly interested in exploring how humans contribute to problems in our natural surface waters (through growth/development in watersheds, altering hydrology, as well as indirectly through anthropogenic climate change) and what we can do to contribute to solutions.

This portfolio provides a snapshot of my research, teaching, and professional experiences - please reach out if you think there might be opportunity for collaboration!
